Gate Attendants- Hand out programs, Dragon Egg Hunt slips, Zip Code Survey, help visitors with peace tying weapons. Sign in sheets for volunteers, with bracelets. There will be a fair amount of sitting.
Ticket Booth- Take tickets, sell tickets, take credit cards via Square, and cash. Count people, hand out bracelets. Familiarity with retail sales helpful. You will be paired with an experienced volunteer and closely follow procedures for accountability.
Information Booth- Answer questions about where things are, hand out Dragon Egg Hunt Slips, handle the phone charger for Merchants, minor first aid, will have walkie talkies for anything more serious. Any first aid training helpful. Store the bottled water for volunteers and merchants. “Home Base” for the faire staff.
Kid's Activities- Help with Shield Painting and Goblet Decorating. Must like kids! You will always be working with experienced volunteer or area steward.
Stage Management- Make sure performers start and end on time. Help with equipment. Run Block Rocker, CD player. You get to watch all performances on your shift! Two stages....Black Night Stage and Wexford Stage.
Merchant Runners & Hospitality- Visit all the merchant booths to check on their well being, offer help, and answer questions. Fill their water bottles, empty their trash, watch their booth during privy breaks, etc. Be an ambassador and help however you can.
Brute Squad- Keepers of the Peace. 21 & up volunteers preferred. You will be paired with an experienced volunteer. Walkie Talkie with team. Walk the faire, check in with The Green Dragon Tavern. Answer general questions from the public. Be an ambassador.
Fairy Glen- Wings provided! Help The Clover Fairy with Giant Bubbles, Story Times, Fairy Pinches, Dragon Egg Hunt, and Treasure Chest.
Grounds Keeping- Keep all support systems in good order. Empty trashcans, keep Food Court clean, pick up stray trash, clean off tables, etc. Check on cleanliness of port a potties in merchant camping area. Cleaning supplies provided. Will work with experienced volunteer or steward. Helping with any repairs needed during faire.
Set Up- We need everybody! Setting up Stages, Fairy Glen, Kids Activities, Arenas, Combat Areas, putting up signs, hanging banners, pounding stakes, tying up fabric walls. Use of sledge hammers, zip ties, ball bungees, rebar, screwdrivers and wrenches! Set up begins the morning of Thursday, April 25th, continues on Friday the 26th (this is the day most merchants and performers arrive to setup.) There will be some last minute setup on Saturday morning prior to opening. If you have any first shift on Saturday morning, please come early and help with the last minute items!
Break Down- We need everybody! Same as Set Up but in reverse. Packing up and loading truck. If you have any last shift of the day, please sign up to help. The folks who work breakdown will receive a special commendation and pin as a member of the 2019 Braveheart Crew!

Two Rivers Medieval Faire
